Program Overview:
In Tedecha District, students face the challenge of attending school on empty stomachs due to economic hardships. Hunger impacts their concentration, attendance, and overall well-being, ultimately affecting their academic success. Abdissa Integrated Community Development Organization (AICDO) is urgently launching the Tedecha District School Student Meals Program to provide nutritious meals to over 1,500 students across three schools. This initiative requires immediate support to raise 20,000,000 ETB to cover the cost of meals for one academic year.
Program Objectives:
Improve Student Health and Well-being:
Nutritious meals will boost the students' physical health, enhance focus, and allow them to thrive academically.
Increase School Attendance and Engagement:
Access to regular meals will improve attendance rates and reduce dropouts, as students will no longer need to stay home due to hunger.

Studies show that well-nourished students perform better academically. This program will empower students to concentrate on their studies and reach their full potential.
